Refine your throwing techniques and elevate your pottery craftsmanship with Jumpstart for the Studio Potter! This course presents a distinctive opportunity to strengthen fundamental skills while mastering the art of creating intentional and efficient pottery.

Throughout the sessions, we will delve into essential techniques such as tap centering, the Hungarian claw technique, and the art of pulling handles directly from the pot. As you gain confidence and proficiency, we will explore advanced methods like faceting and altering to craft dynamic and captivating surface textures.

Join us to enhance your pottery skills and discover the joy of creating elegant, functional ceramics with ease and precision!

Students will have full access to the studio during open hours for the duration of their 8 Week course (6am-12am All Days).

Shelf space and 25lbs of clay is provided to each student. Tools and other equipment are available at the studio for communal use.
